Non-EU/EEA: Study Permit (oppholdstillatelse) via UDI (Norwegian Directorate of Immigration). Apply online at udi.no, biometrics at embassy/police. Processing 2–4 months. EU/EEA: register with police on arrival if >90 days.
Proof of NOK 137,907/year (2024 rate) living funds via bank statement. Tuition payment proof also required for non-EU. First-year amount must be available upfront.
Non-EU: 20 hours/week during term, full-time during holidays. EU/EEA: full work rights. No statutory minimum wage (sectoral agreements, retail/hospitality NOK 200–250/hour).
1-year job-seeker residence permit after graduation (requires completed degree + financial proof). Pathway to skilled worker permit and permanent residence.
